Voting Options (in English)
In February 2025, the Australian Parliament passed the Electoral Legislation Amendment (Electoral Reform) Act of 2025. In part, this law significantly reforms financial disclosure requirements, although they do not take effect until after the 2025 General Elections. Other changes, including removing the use of the term “unsound mind”, prohibiting filming in polling places without permission, and expanding the grounds for pre-poll and postal voting for persons with disabilities and their caregivers, will be implemented in time for the 2025 election.
