An additional 15 are elected by proportional representation in a single nationwide constituency, and the remaining 6 are elected by plurality vote in multi-seat constituencies representing citizens abroad. In the snap presidential election of 2023, Daniel NOBOA Azin (Revolución Ciudadana) won in the second round with 52% of the vote. Voter turnout was 82%.
