General Information
On 5 November 2024 (concurrent with gubernatorial and legislative elections), Puerto Rico will hold a plebiscite to determine the population's wishes with regard to the future status of Puerto Rico. Voters will choose between three options: independence, US statehood, or independence in free association with the US.
