Electoral System:
- The President is elected by absolute majority vote through a two-round system to serve a five-year term. If no candidate wins an absolute majority of the votes in the first round, the top two candidates head to a second round, scheduled for March 10.
- The Legislative Assembly, which includes multi-seat constituencies and a proportional nationwide constituency is elected every three years to a three-year term. The current Assembly was elected in 2018.
